Membrane pressure reducer equipped with stopper with compensated
surfaces. This measure ensures stability of outlet pressure regardless
of variations in upstream pressure. The calibration system includes a
pair of springs that act on an oscillating housing which isolate the
stopper and the membrane from the torsions and lateral flexion induced
by the working of the spring.
The stopper is made of synthetic material with a low friction
coefficient to reduce the formation of lime build-up, which is the main
cause of malfunctions. The reducer is also provided with a reduced
section mesh filter, which can be inspected in the version with
transparent cup. This further increases durability and protects the
plumbing circuit from any impurities which may be present in the water
supply. The control knob and the graduated scale in the upper part allow
easy adjustment of the calibration pressure. Therefore, the reducer can
be calibrated to the desired pressure prior to installation and the
system, when powered up, will automatically go the set value. The
pressure reducers are calibrated at the test bench with an upstream
pressure of 8 bar and 3 bar downstream, with 100% testing prior to packaging.
